We offer separate boarding & daycare facilities for cats and dogs so our feline friends can have a little peace and quiet during their stay.

About Our Pet Boarding & Daycare Facilities

We take great pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable facility for your pet. Our boarding & daycare area is temperature-controlled and spacious, and your pet receives frequent care and attention from our friendly, compassionate staff.

We offer social lounges (just one lounge) for dogs, large open areas where your pet can enjoy the day hard at play. Comfortable kennels are also available for those who need a little privacy. Our Kitty City provides cat condos with separate dining, resting, and potty areas for the comfort of your feline friend.

Should any medical problems arise during your pet’s stay, you can have peace of mind that our veterinarians are right next door and will make sure they are treated appropriately.

Temperament Testing:

At Bark at the Ark Boarding & Daycare, we implement an evaluation process for daycare (we do this for all new boarders & daycare guests) to assure a happy, harmonious, well-socialized dog population. This evaluation process is done by appointment only and will allow us to assess what group your dog would play best with. We test for:

• Food, Kennel, and Dog Aggression
• Socialization
• Leash Walking

Dog & Cat Boarding & Daycare Requirements

All boarding & daycare guests must be up-to-date on vaccinations. If your pet requires any vaccinations before staying with us, we are happy to provide the vaccines for an additional fee.

We require all dogs to be up-to-date on:

• Distemper/Parvovirus
• Rabies
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
• Canine Influenza
• Current on an intestinal parasite check

We require all cats to be up-to-date on:

• Feline Distemper
• Rabies

Reservations are preferred, especially during holidays, but we can generally accommodate last-minute or emergency boarding & daycare needs.

Why Board Your Pet at a Veterinary Practice?

• If there is an emergency or your pet needs immediate medical care, our veterinarians and medical team are onsite for a quick response.
• If your pet requires updated vaccinations before boarding, we can take care of those before your pet's scheduled boarding date. If possible, please allow two weeks between vaccination and boarding.
• We offer veterinary exams or other medical services needed during your pet’s stay.
